Lingerie come in all different types of designs and fabrics, and plus size lingerie is no exception. Some women prefer lace teddies, others prefer sexy stockings and garters, and yet others prefer cotton and comfortable panties. New fragrances from Tom Ford

As well as a complete collection of skincare and cosmetics – the campaign for which stars Lara Stone along with Tom Ford's stubble– two new fragrances have also been announced as part of Tom Ford‘s fall beauty range. Any fan of Ford’s rich, unique fragrances will be getting in line for these after reading the sumptuous descriptions of their genetic makeup, from the “hedonistic and erotic” Jasmin Rouge to the “hypnotic and mysterious” Santal Blush.

The parasol grows up

Victorian-inspired, swarmed with oriental designs or picked up from great-grandmother’s attic, parasols took pride in maintaining a traditional image. These bad boys have made multiple appearances in the past, predominantly with their lace or embroidered buddies.

MYSTERY SHOE :

Spotted on the streets of Paris these shoes may not be kitten heels (au contraire, they seem to have a rather high platform) but they certainly are kittens for your feet. Another mystery shoe, I’m not sure who designed them (if you do know, we’d love you to comment below) but the black velvet and embroidered cat faces sure make them stand out. As for my lead-in question, I think that comes down to styling: a pair of fishnet stockings and cuffed black pants gives them an air of classic Parisian glamour.

Shoes for the season: Pierre Hardy

When it comes to shoes, sometimes one needs not say too much. As long as there are pictures to look at, they’ll speak a thousand words. Suffice to say that Pierre Hardy’s women’s collection for autumn / winter 2011 traverses several styles, starting out in bold blocks of colour, morphing into unique shapes, stepping gently through ladylike mid-heels before landing with a thud into chunky wedge territory. The one thread that holds it all together – bar for where heavy wedged boots enter the mix – is an underlying hint of retro glamour.
