How to Welcome Guests into your Home with Autumn Centerpieces:
There is no warmer feeling than sitting at the table with friends and family, while the crisp autumn air breezes outside, and you enjoy a memorable dinner. Autumn is that time of year before the hustle and bustle of the holidays, where you can enjoy the togetherness of entertaining, especially at your dining room table. Autumn centerpieces are a perfect way to brighten your festive dining table, as well as warm the house with eye-catching fall color, even when the table isn’t occupied. For ideas for bringing fall inspiration to your dining room table, look at these inspiring ideas.
Caroline Néron’s beaded goddesses:
Caroline Néron’s Spring 2012 presentation was the kind of runway show that I probably fantasized about as a child in the ‘90s, but haven’t expected to see since. There was a live singer, a live drum beat, a wind machine, and a story of slinking goddesses falling to earth.
Whole-body chains were worn with stacked bracelets, rings, earrings, and metal-fringed epaulettes—my personal favourite detail. Three goddess-specific looks emerged on the runway, each very similar but with slightly different colouring—but the pièce de résistance was the final look: the lone model who walked out in body chains with wing-like strings of gems and beads attached to jeweled cuffs garnered audible gasps. Gasps, yes, but we’d like to know just what kind of gasps those were.

30 Beautiful & Modern Swedish Bedroom Designs:
When it comes to Scandinavian apartments, the living room always draws attention due to spectacular details. For today we decided to prove that Northern cribs have a lot more to offer than amazing socializing areas. This is why we gathered 30 incredible looking bedroomsthat are welcoming and not to mention inspiring. Even though they are all unique, we noticed some similar elements that are worth bringing up. First off, all the bedrooms in the photos below feature large windows that are usually covered by stylish window blinds or subtle curtains. On each side of the king-size bed there are traditional night tables, original shelving units or chairs. The walls are painted mostly in white, but here and there you will notice an interesting color disruption: some of the bedrooms have fresh wallpapers that liven up the room. The lighting details are particularly interesting to observe. We invite you to have a look at this beautiful bedroom gallery and let us know what details you find interesting.
Wood That Bends and Folds by Snijlab: Practical Innovation
Snijlab is a Dutch digital manufacturing company that recently discovered a revolutionary method of making wood flexible. By using a laser cutting technique, they simply make various cuts in the wood, which make it bend in both directions without breaking. Here is more from the producers: “We designed wooden booklets that use this feature. They’re made from a beautiful birch plywood and are finished with a clear varnish. The hard wooden cover can be opened fully to the back side for comfortable holding. A tiny clamp inside, made from the same material, holds a standard A7 writing block.Because a laser cutter is a fairly common tool products like this could be manufactured locally, all over the world. By working from sheet materials the products can also be flat-packed, saving even more resources and costs on shipping. For us this means we can make everything in-house and we don’t need to produce in big quantities to make it affordable. This is really the power of digital manufacturing and personal fabrication“. Do you find this idea practical?

Khaadi Menswear: Collection 2011
Shamoon Sultan is very talented fashion designer of Pakistan, working under his fashion label “Khaadi” since 1998. Khaadi presents dazzling collection for men and women for every season. Hand-woven fabric has long been an intrinsic part of the rich tapestry of life in the East. However, with changing times, the art of weaving, like many others, was slowly dying. When Khaadi opened its doors in 1998, it was with the aim to revive this tradition by giving it a solid new market. The dazzling spread of colors, textures and styles in the purest cottons and silks immediately claimed a niche in the hearts of a clientele that still favors Khaadi today – leading to a phenomenal expansion in the range of products and number of outlets spread across 3 cities in Pakistan, Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.

Ballet Flats are Great Trans-seasonal shoes: Michael Nace
Spring is often a mixed season with regards to footwear, some days it's still cold enough to put on tights and boots, other days we're left wondering if we shouldn't have worn thong sandals .Ballet flats are great because they can be worn with almost any garment, winter or summer, and with or without tights. They can be used to either dress down or dress up an outfit depending on how embellished they are. And best of all they are slim enough to fit into a handbag to change into when the killer heels become too much for the dance floor. Ballet flats are the ultimate comfortable shoe, second only probably to the slipper!—Which makes them perfect for every day wear.

All things sparkle-y at Delfina Delettrez and Swarovski
It wouldn’t be Paris fashion week without a few sparklers thrown into the mix.
First up: Delfina Delettrez. This jewellery designer is a fourth generation Fendi (yes, that Fendi) woman. She’s the daughter of Silvia Venturini Fendi—the accessories director at this famous luxury house—and Bernard Delettrez, the French jeweler. (Clearly, this French darling has quite the sparkling lineage.) Family jewels aside, Delettrez has her own eponymous line of couture-worthy baubles (many are one-of-a-kind) that blends goth with modern. From sinister-looking skulls to whimsical creatures (a few seasons back there was a pig ring that caused a few snorts), these fantastical creations are a feast for the eyes. Her current collection was showcased on wigs that rival Marge Simpson’s signature towering ‘do. Paging, Nicki Minaj!
